Blood, Sweat & Trails – Why Adults still ride BMX Bikes

The magazine: Dig BMX.  The man: Jay Lonergan.  The Trails: Posh.

Coming from BMX roots, this video speaks to us in ways other videos have never touched.  In the 9 minute length of this video, Jay touch talks about over 20 years of riding, digging and maintaining the same dirt jumps in Eastern, PA.

Jay talks about watching kids grow up to become pro riders and how, having never stopped riding himself, a good day, even a good run on his BMX bike is all he needs to put a smile on his face.

Relatively young compared to many other sports, BMX has been viewed since it’s inception as a kids thing, but with generations of the sport now reaching “older” ages, will it slowly become a weekend hobby for more adults?
